Preparing for the Lord’s Supper
This Sunday during service we will be partaking in communion. We don’t pause often enough to contemplate what Jesus did on the cross, and how sinful we truly are, yet it is something that we desperately need to do to keep the gospel in front of us. We tend to go about our lives and get lost in the busyness, and Jesus knew this when he said in 1 Corinthians 11:28, “Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” I hope you’ll join us as we take communion together.
