This week in Nehemiah God’s people make a covenant with Him that they would “not neglect the House of The Lord”. They pointed their eyes and hearts to what God was calling them to do, even with their families and resources. God has been so generous to each of us, and we fail to worship Him fully if we neglect offering Him our families and resources. Many of us struggle truly living in faith. We feel the need to have a plan for our children and finances, and when those plans go awry, we begin to be filled with fear and anxiety. May we be a church that trusts God in all that He has given us.
