SERMON SERIES:

SERIES:

Sermon Series for the Book of James
SERMON NOTES:

This Sunday we close our study in the book of James by studying through the last two verses of the book. This past week we learned of the need to confess our sins to one another. In confession, we find hope, grace, and accountability because of the cross. We need to confess our sins and struggles to one another. In these last two verses, we see the same hope on the opposite side of the coin. God gives to believers the responsibility of loving and pursuing after our brothers and sisters in Christ who have fallen in sin. This ministry of reconciliation that we Christ gave to us (2 Corinthians 5:11-21) extends beyond the call to salvation. We pray for and plead with one another to forsake our sins and be reconciled back to God and those we have sinned against.
