Father’s Day 2021

God in His perfection realized the vital need of a Father in each home. It is difficult being a father in today’s culture, and often we feel alone in our endeavor in raising our children and loving our wife well. When I was doing research on the role of the father, I realized one thing: most dads feel inadequate. 63% said in a 2017 survey that they feel they spend too little time with their kids, compared with 35% of mothers who said the same. Among both dads and moms who said they spend too little time with their kids, work obligations were cited most often as the main reason. It can be difficult to find a balance between work and family, but my hope is that we can always evaluate how we cherishing our most precious gift God has given us, our family.  We appreciate all you fathers who have sacrificed so much for your families, often exhausted and with little appreciation.
