As the new year begins, this blog encourages parents to be intentional about teaching their children about Jesus in the midst of busy and distracted lives. By recognizing everyday teaching moments and prayerfully guiding their children’s hearts, families can invest in what matters most—their children’s faith.

As Christmas approaches, we want to encourage families to slow down and intentionally point their children to Jesus. This short devotion invites families to read Luke 2 together, remember why we celebrate Christmas, and focus on Jesus as the greatest gift and our Savior.

As we enter the Thanksgiving season, families are encouraged to put faith into action by serving together. Including children in acts of service helps grow grateful hearts and builds faith that lasts. This fall, simple opportunities to serve others can make a meaningful impact while teaching kids to live out their faith.

Easter isn’t about candy or crowds—it’s about Jesus and the miracle of an empty grave. God turned the darkest moment in history into the greatest victory through Christ’s resurrection. Take time this week to reflect on His sacrifice and share the true meaning of Easter with your family using the Journey Through Holy Week guide.

As spring approaches, we’re reminded of God’s grace and the new beginnings He brings through faith in Jesus. Just as nature renews, God is always doing something new in our lives—restoring hope and purpose. Families are encouraged to nurture their children’s faith and join us Palm Sunday, April 13, as the kids lead worship in both services.

Advent is a season of anticipation—remembering Christ’s first coming and looking forward to His return. Each week we focus on hope, peace, joy, and love, preparing our hearts to receive the gift of Jesus.

This week begins a new study on Moses’ birth and calling. Before sending Moses to deliver Israel, God first called him into relationship—speaking from the burning bush and drawing him near.

Beachside thanks families for a great Fall Festival! Worship in the Park is Nov. 3 at 9 AM at Riverside Park (only service). Regular services resume Nov. 10. Families are encouraged to talk about gratitude and help kids practice for the Dec. 22 Christmas song using the linked video.
