About Linda Sue Lowry
I met Jesus in the top of a tree! When I came down from that tree, I was a new creation. My life had meaning and purpose. I had the foundation I was looking for. I was a twenty year-old college student at Stetson University. They called us Jesus Freaks. Well, I’m still a Jesus freak!
My first mission field was in the public school system. Then I reached out to my community with volunteer work. Through my church I went on mission to other cities in our state, and then out of state to Minnesota. God put in my heart to go overseas.
My first trip was to Tanzania in Africa. It was there I said, “Here am I Lord, send me.” I went to Brazil as well, then applied with the International mission board to go overseas for two years. God sent me to China! After my two years I returned to New Smyrna but I had no joy. When I surrendered my life to return to China, my joy returned. I went to seminary for two years before heading back to China in 2001. That was fifteen years ago and now I’m back in the states. God moved me from China to India in 2007. I lived in three cities in China and three in India.
I am so blessed and grateful. I love sharing what God is doing in Asia. My mission field is here [New Smyrna Beach], for now.
